Rating:  - Lived up to the hype
Before purchasing the Wahl kit I reviewed several clippers on Amazon and various other sites. It was an anniversary gift to my boyfriend to help him start saving some money. For being two college kids with no hair cutting experience the Wahl worked extremely well. It was easy to hold, and a powerful machine. I was able to give my boyfriend an excellent haircut.
Just a warning about using it: you have to press pretty hard against the head to make sure it's an even cut. That makes sense when you think about it because if you were to just glide along above a scalp, your 3/4 inch is more like 5/8 and it can make your scalp look goofy.
We were so surprised that the oil spray bottle came full and ready to go, and that it came with a drop cloth for hair. It is a wonderful kit for beginners and it paid for itself in just 1 month.
Rating: - Great on my two year old. Save me lots of money
I have been using it on my two year old and my 70 year old father. Works great for people who don't mind having a less fashionable haircut.
Rating:  - Worst Ever
I have owned many clippers but this is by far the worst. It started to rust after two weeks of having it. Absolutely awful, plus the noise it makes is deafening. Plus it doesn't cut well. A waste of my money.

Works really well. A little heavy, but that's ok. Way better than the clippers that I had before. Only thing I don't like about it is the cape that comes with it is so thin it's like a plastic bag. Other than that I love it.

The unit arrived in good shape with all included items. While this offering by Wahl does have a few more included items overall its the same Wahl trimmer that can be had at around $20 here on Amazon and at most discount stores. The 'powerful' motor sounds and acts exactly like a $20 model we have had for a year.
If you are looking for a more robust or capable model by Wahl this is not the one you will want to purchase.
