Personal Health Care Philips Norelco 7110 Cordless Rechargeable Shaver

In association with Amazon.com

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - A poor excuse from Norelco: Pay more or good luck.
This is the worst shaver I have owned. I bought two of them on sale
from CVS @ $29.99. Both died. One problem involves cleaning. If you have
steady fingers fine. My hands shake a bit. I can get some of the hairs out by using hot water. But each time I have tried to lift the plastic blade holder, either one of the parts has broken or there is great difficulty in getting the three blades properly reset and then getting the
holder to click. This has happened twice. Moreover I have found the
motor to be poor. A shaver repair specialist evaluated four different
Norelco units and had the least to say about the 7110. The others received
some praise. Matching the 7110 to the 9160 is like matching a Civic or
Corolla to a Yugo or Pinto.

Also on the current dead razor I found it took a long time to recharge.
Finally now the motor stopped working. I am hoping for a refund from
CVS, even though eight months old. Norelco won't issue a replacement.

There are very few products that I have rated lower. I rate many things.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Good on face, bad on neck
I bought this for my husband for Christmas. He says that it does an excellent job on the face but does not work well on his neck. But the trimming attachment is very nice to have and it holds the charge for about a week.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Great
I think this razor is great and am totally amazed at the fact that you can rinse it clean under a water faucet..I just wish it didn't take 8 hours to charge..

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Great product
Purchased for my husband for Christmas, and he loves it. Says he has experienced no hair pulling or other irritation, likely b/c he lets it grow out a little between shaves, 3-4 days. It does work best when the hair is a bit more than rough stubble...better to use a regular razor if you need a close shave when it is still short, like 1-2 days after a close shave. He did find the 8 hr fist charge annoying, and I keep reminding him that this type of battery works best when it is allowed to drain to near empty before recharging or it reduces battery life. Other than remembering that, it is a great product and he has used it several times, happy each time!

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Norelco 7110X
I have been a Norelco user for many years. With the ability to clean this device under a fawcet, Norelco has moved to a new level of customer convenience. An excellent product
