Apparel Bella Band

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Bella Band
This is a great idea for extending the wear of your pre-pregnancy clothes! :) I have loved it and I think it will work for quite a while, who wants a bunch of maternity clothes you will never wear again! This makes it so you don't need them as soon.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Money well spent!
I purchased the bella band when I was about 15 weeks pregnant. I wish I had purchased it a little earlier, b/c it made wearing my pre-pregnancy pants so much more comfortable. I'm now around my 20th week and I have found it useful to wear w/my maternity pants. The pants are still a little loose and I find that the BB helps keep them up and gives me a more flattering silhouette. I sometimes wear it just for that reason and b/c I personally like the feeling of having my belly supported. I can only imagine that in the weeks to come I will find more benefit in having my expanding belly supported and if so I may buy another one in black for the fall/winter.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Great product, worth the money
Because there were other cheaper options available I struggled with plunking the $25 ($30 w/shipping) down to buy this but am very glad I did. In the end I went with my gut that told me there's a reason why it's priced higher and I'd probably reap the benefits of that. I did. I bought a size larger than recommended based on other's reviews and have been able to use it since it came out of the box but know it will last me several months more into my pregnancy. So far I only need it for a pair of jean capris but if it were cooler I think I'd be using it a lot more. (Since it's summer all of my gauchos and skirts are still fitting me) I double mine over to hide the bumps from the button and zipper and since I wear my shirts and blouses longer you can't see a thing. I do have to pull it down often because of sitting at work and driving but it stays put more than I thought it would. It also looks just like a tank top underneath so no one's the wiser.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - An Absolute Must-have for Pregnant Women
I will confess, I was absolutely skeptical about trying the Bella Band. I am a first time mom-to-be and have recently discovered that most pregnancy jeans/pants are really uncomfortable. Often times, the elastic band puts too much pressure on my belly...or, the elastic distorts my body shape, making me feel frumpy.
I bought the Bella Band, and much to my surprise, it is the best invention since sliced bread. I put the band on first, from mid-hip to just under my breasts. Then, I put my jeans/pants on. No need to zip or button, just pull the top half of the band over your pants and you are good to go for the rest of the day. Your pants stay in place and the band smoothes out lines from the button/zipper that can be seen through your shirt. What is nice is that the band supports your stomach, making you feel slimmer and more shapely, without cutting through your mid section like most pregnancy pants.
I cannot recommend this product enough. In fact, I just bought a second one in black. Even if you are wearing a shorter shirt, the band just looks like a tee-shirt underneath. Lastly, it is seamless, so it does not leave any undesirable imprints in your skin.
Initially, I thought $26 was a bit steep for this product, until I used it. It is worth every red cent.

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Worth the money
I think this is worth it. I'm beginning my 5th month and have used this with some jeans and a couple pairs of work pants. I would say that it works the best with the work pants because it doesn't slide as much. I also discovered you have to get it pulled down nice and low over your hips for it to grab. It slips more with my jeans, but I don't really have to adjust it any more than I would a form-fitting top. I think it would probably hold better if it had elastic in the bottom hem. It doesn't exactly camoflauge the bumps made by your unbuttoned pants, but it does cover half-zipped zippers. For security, I always use a hair-band or rubber band to attach my button to the button hole and then wear the band overtop. I'm not sure that it's strong enough to actually hold up too-loose maternity pants, but I haven't had to try that yet. Overall, I'm glad I purchased one, but I'm not so wowed by it that I feel the need to get a bunch of other colors.
