Rating:  - No burnt smell..
I've had this straightner for a few months now and I love it! It gets hot quickly and doesnt give my hair that burnt smell.. I have shoulder length hair and it gets the job done in less them 15 mins.. The shine is gorgeous. I dont recommend it for curling though you don't get the same effect as you would with a curling iron.

I have had this hair straightener for a couple weeks now. It definitely works really good, I wish the temp went a little higher. The max is 360 degrees which works fine on normal days but could use a little extra boost when the humidity is up. I haven't figured out how to curl my hair with it yet without leaving a crimp at the ends. Overall i would recommend this product.

although this product claimed to be new, when it arrived, it was clearly not. It was packaged poorly and half open. I have no complaints about the straightener itself. However, if you have thick curly hair this product only works at the highest setting and I have to go over the same strand a couple of times. The eventual outcome is good though.
Rating: - Light and easy to use
I bought the CHI after using a Revlon flat iron for 3-years. The CHI gets a lot hotter than my old iron. I really like that its light and more compact than my old one. The only thing that's weird is there is red felt on the outside of it. When I looked at the photo I saw the red but thought it was plastic. I just hope that the felt doesn't come off over time.
