The BF loves American Apparel shirts as undershirts in white or ash grey, so in addition to those I got him some in colors he doesn't usually wear. The red is cheery and bright and the eggplant is a dark rich purple. Getting them online from places who buy AA in bulk and pass on the savings is so much cheaper than walking into AA and spending >$15 on a simple cotton shirt. As always, the shirts I received were quality material- soft, durable cotton in an excellent cut.

For the record, I am not impressed with the work ethics of American Apparrel, with the whole fact that they buy bus passes for their employees and etc. I have a lot of friends who shop their products for that reason and I think its a pretty dumb reason to shop based on that...
I shop at American Apparel because they make good products. They are tailored to fit, and it has a fantastic high thread count. Its very THE GAP, before it got incredibly large. Buy these shirts.

If running a clothing company involves shipping the wrong items then avoiding your customer's emails, I'm gonna enter the business and revolutionize it. Maybe make a few millions.
Andrew Christian blows. I'd much rather go to an American Apparel retail store and pay twice as much than shop through them.
Do the right thing and learn from me..just avoid this dump at all costs.

American Apparel definitely produces top quality clothing. The fabric is soft, and the construction is excellent. The sizing and fit is quite true, meaning that a "medium" is really a "medium". The tees don't stretch or fade, withstanding much machine washing by college students. Highly recommended.
