The human version of this product had much better reaction than the pet version. I started out with 4 drops in water and slept very well....almost too well! I've lowered it to 3 and it's great. It has a very strong floral taste - somewhat like tasting perfume - but I put it in one ounce of water and swallow it. The alcohol base is somewhat upsetting to my stomach at times.

Rescue Remedy is homeopathic and therefore contains highly diluted amounts of the active ingredients, so I was initially skeptical that it would do anything for me. Yet after picking this up at my local health food store I can assure you that it actually works! I now take some of the essences separately and have been amazed by how well they work. I'm excited to see this product get more exposure as people are finding that it works well with pets also!

I was a bit skeptical too but as it turns out 4 drops of this on the tongue during an anxiety-attack has proven effective, as it will at least change my mind about going over the edge during a panic-attack.

After reading all the wonderful reviews on this product, I became very excited in trying it. You see, I have been suffering from anxiety attacks for a few months now and I wanted to try something natural before going on prescription meds. I don't know, maybe my anxiety is too severe for this product but I felt absolutely nothing. I also tried Rescue Remedy more then a few times to give it a chance. I mean, I really really wanted this to work.
To make sure it was not just me I gave some to my mother who is going through menopause and goes through slight bouts of anxiety as well. She told me it actually made her feel "jittery" and left a bad taste in her mouth. My therapist taught me some special breathing exercises that instantly calm me down. I'm going to do that instead, it costs nothing and is more effective. I'm happy that it's worked for other reviewers, though for me putting drops of vodka under my tongue would have had the same effect.

I learned about Rescue Remedy online, but was a bit skeptical about flower escenses. I purchased Rescue Remedy to help calm my cat. I had recently moved, and she seemed especially stressed out about the move, and was keeping me up all night. She cried for hours during the night (I live in a small apartment), making it impossiple for me to sleep.
I started out by putting 2 drops in her wet food at night, and steady increased the dosage to 6 drops. I give her the food about an hour before I go to bed. I'm not sure if she sleeps through the night, but she's calm and quiet until I get up in the morning. It's a miracle! I never thought I would find something that worked so well. Her vet even prescriped Valium, but that didn't work. I am completely satisfied with Rescue Remedy. It is a safe and effective 'remedy' to calm my cat during the night.
