Rating: - Disappointing
I was excited when I ordered this because I am very interesting in learning the Bible in more depth. Bible study groups are good, but they typically move at such a slow pace. I saw this as an alternative.

Unfortunately, it was not what I expected. It's nothing more than a workbook that tells you to read the bible passages then provides a few questions for discussion on each section. In short, this is a workbook to be used in study groups. I was looking for more of a self study workbook with summaries of the various books. The book is worthless unless you first read the suggested chapters in the bible. While I think everyone should read the Bible cover-to-cover, I don't want to do that as part of my Bible study. I would like to read passages to add clarity to the discussion in the workbook. As I said, the workbook doesn't provide such discussion, so the entire thing comes up empty. There are probably other study guides that are closer to what I am looking for. If you are looking for a study guide for your study group, this might be just the ticket, but it's disappointing otherwise.
