This book by Donald Goines is an absolute classic. I have this book and I am scared to give it away. I read this book at least twice a year. For anybody that likes the Gangster Gangster stories this book is a must get. I guarantee that when you read this book you will find it very deep! I have One question? whatever happened to the movie? I have the soundtrack!!!!

This book started a little slow but once it got into the action, I could not put it down. Ruby was a soldier who stood by her man all the way to the end! The book told the story of how one man Prince took over the city. This book did not hold anything back! I love Donald Goines books because you don't know what to expect but reality. THIS IS A MUST READ!
