As a light-skinned African American, I found it impossible to find a color match. I had tried Cover Girl, Loreal, Lancome, Vanity Fair, Mary Kay, and several others. I happened upon Stila by accident. I went into a BareMinerals store and there wasn't anyone to color match me, so I walked to a JCPenneys and the BareMinerals either made me look too pink or too lavendar - go figure - they say it matches all skintones!!! It is much too opaque and I felt looked unnatural. For someone wanting very high coverage and likes a matt look this will probably work. I do love this brand for other products though!

I have been using Stila powder for years and it has not lost it's staying power! It goes on smooth and sheer without building up on my skin.
Rating:  - Dry skin? No problem.
I love this powder and its case. I've dropped it a million times and never once has the powder cracked. The smooth and light feel on my semi-dry skin is impressive. You don't have to wear foundation because of the great coverage. I highly recommend this product especially if you have dry/combination skin.
