Ivy Block Lotion has been shown in medical literature to help reduce the penetration of the chemical responsible for causing poison ivy, oak and sumac.
Significantly diminishes the severity of poison ivy/oak/sumac, as well as helps to prevent it altogether for a significant number of individuals. MUST be applied 15 minutes prior to exposure. Should NOT be applied to active poison ivy rash.

Let's just say, I used this product and my husband didn't. We both pulled poison ivy all morning. I did not get any rash, he did in about four different places, the most annoying was his eyelid....use the product.
