Editorial Review:
Product Description: The year is 1890 and Bible Professor Russell Carlisle has written a new manuscript. His book is about to receive an unanimous endorsement from the board members at Grace Bible Seminary until his colleague, Dr. Norris Anderson, has a difficulty with something. Dr. Anderson believes what Carlisle has written could greatly affect future generations. Using a secret time machine, Anderson sends Carlisle over 100 years into the future, offering him a glimpse of where his beliefs will lead.
Amazon.com: Time Changer may be a little strident in its core message (i.e., ethics don't count unless they're backed by the force of Christ), but as an above-average feature for the Christian market, it's pretty agreeable. D. David Morin stars as a late-19th-century Bible professor named Carlisle, whose efforts to publish a book arguing that morals can be taught independent of Christ's teachings is denounced by one Dr. Anderson (Gavin Macleod), a board member at Carlisle's seminary. Anderson, who happens to be in possession of a time machine, sends Carlisle to the year 2001, where the latter quickly discovers the pitfalls of a secular world with relative morality and no absolute (i.e., Christian) standards. Time Changer's seasoned supporting cast, including Paul Rodriguez, Jennifer O'Neill, and Hal Linden, bring a professional gloss to the film that helps counter its thematic single-mindedness, while director Rich Christiano serves up some passable science fiction to go with all the preaching. --Tom Keogh

Rating: - If -I- had a time machine, I would use it to prevent myself from watching this movie
Like most propoganda done without artistic skill, this movie manages to "teach a lesson" to strictly the group of people who already share it's values and agree with it's tenants. For people who don't share every moral point in this debacle, the movie amounts to an elderly gentleman from the 1800's tottering about during modern times, berating those who don't meet his exacting standards, and then travelling back to his own time so he can deliver the slapdash warning of the oncoming apocalypse, which ... Rating: - Trite, misguided, dishonest, infantile christian propaganda
Why can't fundamentalist christians be honest? Why don't they comprehend their own religion? Do some research, get the facts straight stop promoting dishonest propaganda. Evolve. This film is bizarre in its infantile adherence to a completely false set of premises.
Rating: - The acting could be better, but it is an important message
I have used this movie to show my children the double standards in today's society. The movie points out that although curse words are common place in modern society(freedom of speech), the name of God used in any positive way is no longer acceptable.
It is also sad to see in the film, the state of many churches of today (thankfully, not all). The acting could be better, but considering the film's budget, they did great.
Rating: - Not a Sci-Fi / Worst Movie Ever / Propaganda Piece / WARNING!
This is not a Sci-Fi movie. This is a religious propaganda film. Buyer beware! This is the worst movie ever. I couldn't even finish it and I have watched some pretty painful, awful movies. This movie is screened at churches and they are all told to go review the movie on Amazon and other sites so there are a lot of "shill" reviews out there. These people think that they are doing Gods will and can trick you into watching an awful movie and somehow you will become enlightened and change your mind about ... Read More
Rating: - Fantastic movie
Someone recommended this movie to us, and at first it looked like it was going to be one of those low-budget looking old movies, but it actually starts out in the past, then jumps to the present and is quite well done. It was a fascinating movie, and our whole family liked it (2 adults, 2 teens and a tween). It gave us something to think about, specifically how many guidelines that the secular world live by are actually straight from the Bible, but are no longer attributed to God's word. This movie ...
