I found the cream, very heavy, does not want to soak in, have to rub in forever and it stays on surface of face for hours.....unhappy with the product.

This IS the best face cream ever! I have been using it all my adult life. I'm 60 and look 40. My mother used it before me and everyone marveled at how smooth and soft her face was, with so few wrinkles. That was true until the day she died at the age of 83! When the stores stopped carrying it, I freaked out. Thanks to "Google" I found another source.

I have extra sensitive skin and in the past my face had been really oily but I suffered a nasty chemical burn several years ago so now my face is combination to dry and flaking in some areas with lots of discoloration. I was afraid to use it because I thought that I might be sensitive to one of the ingredients (lanolin) but I tried it anyway. It works great! I have been using Satura Moisture Basic Formula by Dorothy Gray for several years. The company stop handling the product in Lake Charles; so off we went to Amazon and there it was. It is the only product I can use that I do not break out with and I like it for many other reasons. Thanks

i bought this product for my mum (75) and her friend (78) who have both used this cream since the 1950ties so it must be good :) its great if you have dry skin or a a light/fair skin type i think - but i guess it also great for dry skin on feet/ellbows and it is a massive big pot so will last ages. not available in europe anymore so i ordered from the us.
