Rating:  - If it sounds too good to be true . . .
I read the instructions and followed them explicitly. It seemed to heat up, but steam never came out. I thought maybe just the one I bought was defective, but after reading these reviews I'm sure it is the product itself. Oh well, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is (I hate ironing!).
Rating: - Very disappointed
I asked for the Steam Buddy for my birthday last month and couldn't wait to plug it in and try it. I was really looking forward to saying goodbye to hauling out the ironing board and setting up the iron to press a few wrinkles out of my cotton garments.

Rating: - Hunk-a-Junk!
Thank goodness I purchased this at a local store instead of having it shipped to me. It spurts the steam out erratically, and it makes a horrible noise while doing it. It says, hold the button for a constant stream. They mean a constant stream for about 5 seconds and then it fizzles out.
It's basically a water gun, with a heater and multiple holes! Please don't waste your money on this.

I saw the infomercial on the Steam Buddy several months ago and thought that it would be a very handy item to get wrinkles out of clothes quickly and effortlessly. Boy, was I wrong! After waiting forever for the item to arrive, I filled it with water and plugged it in. After a few seconds (as advertised), the red light went off which signaled that it was time to steam. Here are the cons:
1. Does not work (the steam spurts erratically)
2. Falsely advertised (it does not remove wrinkles!!)
3. Shipping charges inflated (why is the s/h nearly as much as item itself when the box is a little larger than a long shoe box)?
4. You will need to pay for return shipping when you promptly want your money back for this total piece of junk!
