Rating: - The best poems you will read this year
Corman's as close, in verse, as you can get to the feeling of doing tai chi. He's where the poetry leaves off. Unleaves. And you're left with a sense of floating in the void, but rooted to the earth. Commonplace Corman knew something. The clink of a stone on bamboo, the autumn evening outdistancing the poet. Corman is always right in the moment. You go with him and you're not reading anymore, you're flowing like grass in the wind. These are the best poems you'll read this year.
