Looked great, but wouldn't start. Customer service was terrible. They said they wouldn't ship a new one unless I paid to ship the defective one back to them. Told me that was their shipping policy and it was posted everywhere (I have not found it anywhere). When I asked to speak to a manager, they sent me to a man who said he didn't have a title, just that he'd been there "forever." He told me there was no one else I could speak with.

I purchased this generator in October 2006. It started up easily and did what is was supposed to do. Ran it every other month for 15 minutes with a load. Pulled it out of the garage this past spring, fired it up with no problem but there was no electrical output. $50 later, the repair shop says it's junk as the stator is bad and it's more to replace (if you can get it) than buy a whole new generator. I purchased this in the electric start model. The generator arrived in three days (CA - MI) in perfect condition. The instructions was written in clear English. It took about 15 minutes to remove the packing and assemble the wheel/handle kit. The generator started right up and purred like a kitten. I was amazed how quiet it was. All in all, I feel I got an outstanding deal.
