I'd love to make this a positive review. Truly, I would. But this is an inferior product, and I think you should know that before you throw away your money as I have.
Other reviewers have mentioned the poor quality of the FM reception. They're telling the truth. Not only is the reception of nearby stations poor, this tuner is incapable of screening out the other stations of similar frequencies. These offer fantastic protection to loud noise, while providing FM or AM radio entertainment. This is not your typical headphone.

I should have bought this years ago. Amazing performance. I connect it to my iPhone and set a comfortable volume level and never have to change it. Whether I start up my brush-cutter, or table-saw in the wood shop. Clean quiet performance.
Only complaint is that the external input is not an integral part of the amplification system. The volume control on the unit does nothing for it. In fact if you turn the volume on/up while using an external MP3 player, or whatever, you will hear ... Read More

I got three sets for my firewood company a few weeks ago. Everybody loves them! The digital tuning seems like an essential feature, no fiddling with the tuning to find different stations. We work outside in a rural area and reception comes in pretty good on most stations - AM is sketchy. Overall I really recommend this headset if you are doing anything that requires hearing protection for a length of time. You won't know how you lived without them!
