I have a couple of Le Creuset products, so when I saw this I was first amazed at the price (The price on this item has fluctuated quite a bit, from the low $20s to the $50s, strange...), especially considering the price of Le Creuset. Lodge Color Enamel 3-Quart Dutch Oven, Emerald I have only used this particular item a couple of times, but we have others in other colors that we have used frequently. I don't have any complaints, but waiting around for the "good price" gets a little boring in particularly if it comes and goes without getting a chance to purchase. Of course, I could pay the "usual price", but why would I especially in these tough economic times?
Rating: - Easy One Pot Cooking
Perfect size for singles/couples or for side dishes for families.
The cast iron is great for heat retention and durability. The enamel coating allows for more versatility than regular cast. The green is a beautiful green that is close to what is shown on screen.
I love the fact that you can start a dish on stovetop and then transfer to oven, all in one pot. Food tastes delicious and cleanup is a breeze.
