Believe it or not, this little piece of nylon actually works. My thumb has a callous that keeps ripping after a few games. This little glove solves that and also helps with a smoother release. There's also a small patch of vinyl on the tip for a little extra grip. I bowled 4 games with it and my thumb had no pain at all. For less than $10, I'd recommend you at least try it.
