Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Takes some getting used to
For people who are used to your average teflon-coated electric skillet, beware. This skillet is very heavy and very large. This skillet gets very hot. It is a little slow to warm up, so you need to give it a minute before you atart cooking or it will continue to heat up while you are cooking and it will burn your food. This is NOT a no-stick surface, you will need some oil or some PAM to keep from making a scorched mess. It cleans marginally well in a dishwasher. You may need to scrape it with ... Read More

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Precise heat skillet
I had been looking for an electric skillet and realized they are not easy to find anymore. This is a very beautiful stainless steel skillet, very heavy, cooks evenly and has exceeded my expectations. I especially like the fact that it does not have a teflon coating, another quality hard to find in an electric skillet. 5 star, would highly recommend!

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - good product
I love the fact that it does not have any non stick teflon in it which is why I chose this product. It also cooks very even and is a nice depth to make a meal in.

The only 2 downfalls with it are it is very heavy ( I guess that is understandable since it has oil in the bottom) and it does not get hot enough to fry potatoes quickly and crisply. I just may need a little more getting used to it.

I would highly recommend it on the fact of NO TEFLON.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - This skillet gets a big thumb's up!
Got this skillet for my husband who is the head chef in our house. He had tired of continually having to replace non-stick skillets and specifically requested a stainless steel version. After doing some research, I settled on this model ... he is delighted with it.

One strange thing, however -- the pricing on this is bizarrely erratic. I bought it in the $70 range ... now I see it listed over $189! And, since I check it occasionally, have seen it in the $140 range, at $115, etc. Have no ... Read More

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - A Great Skillet
This Skillet is really practical, not only does it maintain and even heat distribution, it can get really hot which is great for searing meats. I enjoy the convenience of using this to reheat foods, put on low setting for a few minutes -- no need to have to watch the pan. It is also a fine vegetable steamer. I just got it and have used it everyday since then!
