Rating: - It DOES work after all!
I had to delete my earlier negative review because, after continued trying, I have now caught 4 mice! I don't know what took the little buggers so long, but they finally discovered the trap and are now living OUTSIDE. It took about a week to catch my first mouse, so don't give up too quickly! Though the instuctions say not to use bait, I do put a few dog food kernels inside. Also, once you catch one, it seems the others follow. Perhaps they need to smell their buddies in there. Good luck!

Caught 4 mice in the first few hours after having no luck with other humane traps. However, shipping took forever. If I had to purchase another one of these and needed it within the next 2 weeks, I'd pay for expedited shipping. It would still be a bargain.

This trap has been very helpful. It seems to work well and makes it easy to relocate the little guys.

I've had the little green house and it works except mice eat the catch and then you toss it. I have the tiny little grey ones with flip top. They work fairly well but very noisy at night with mouse inside so you have to get up. This Eaton one is the best so far. But, go to Eaton and buy it there - less shipping. Amazon charges a fortune to ship. Mice go in, stay in and it's quiet until you are ready to release. This one is a keeper.
