Rating:  - Disappointing; I wasted a lot of time...
Product kept crashing in the middle of the "Backup Wizard."Also product would not recognize my external hard drive (which is properly installed and recognized by all other programs I use it in conjunction with and which at 1T should be pretty hard to miss...) I tried to uninstall and reinstall the program 5-6 times, plus I also downloaded an updated copy off of the Acronis website to make sure that I had the latest Vista-compatible version. I also tried to opt out of the wizard and do a step-by-step ... Read More

I have had major, and continuing, problems with Vista. I experience anywhere from 1 to 5 crashes per week. Back in May I ordered Acronis 11 but, after reading all the 1-star reviews, I got cold feet and returned it to Amazon unopened (you have to LOVE Amazon's customer-friendly return policy!).
In the meantime I have tried TeraByte (I bought and paid for this one which didn't work for me) and 4 other programs. They all failed universally.

I found this program to be a smooth easy to use disk imaging/backup solution for my new 1 TB hard drive PC. It is very easy to operate and it does what it says it will do.

Love it! Does everything I want, can look at the uncompressed files with
windows explorer. In my opinion, way better and safer than Norton.
It's great to know I can restore all or part of my computer! The positive
reviews were right on this one!
