The Zen sports a 2.5-inch TFT color display with 320 x 240-pixel resolution and support for up to 16.7 million colors. This razor sharp display is packaged in a device that weighs just 2.1 ounces and measures 3.26 x 2.16 x .44 inches (W x H x D). The internal battery powers the Zen for up to 25 hours of continuous audio playback and up to five hours of continuous video playback. Use the Zen's SD slot to expand your portable media library with music, photos and videos stored on your SD card. There's also a handy built-in microphone for capturing notes on the go.

Load up up your favorite songs, as well as your album art, and get going with the Zen. The device supports iTunes Plus tracks from the iTunes store and MP3 and WMA tracks. Subscription and pay-per-download music services are supported, as well. Discover, save, and play millions of songs when subscribing to services such as Yahoo Music Unlimited and Napster To Go. You can even tune into your favorite stations with the Zen's FM radio. The radio allows you to save up to 34 presets.

The music playback is superb, however, the video quality isn't quite what I thought it would be. If you're looking close enough, you can sometimes see the individual pixels. The screen gets fingerprints on it very easily. (so I HIGHLY recommend buying the screen protectors with it, they solve the problem) In many other reviews, people have complained the iTunes support doesn't work, and I just wanted to clear up that it DOES work. I had problems with the first Creative Zen that I purchased from Amazon--it froze. Returning it to Amazon was a quick and easy process., and within a few days I had a replacement. That was about three weeks ago, and this Zen has worked perfectly. I wanted it mainly for listening to music and books, so I can't comment on the video or photos feature. Only thing I dont like about this product is the charging method(thru your computers usb port) I would much rather have replaceable AAA batteries..but overall, an outstanding product.

I bought this for my best friends birthday, unfortunately I odrered it too soon from Amazon, and can't return it to them (I ordereed it a month before his bday and it can only be exchanged within 30 days). It worked for three days then froze up reqiring a reboot, loosing all stored music and video, and even though the firmware was updated before it was used, the manufacturer claims (through its automated customer service) this is the problem. While charging the player, i can't listen to the songs..its a biggest problem for me..as i do charging and listening simultaneously while I go in my car.Other than that..Iam good with this player.
