We've tried almost every different oil filter wrench configuration available; adjustable-band models are a good idea but require side clearance. We have tested on four different vehicles, each with unique and challenging filter placements. One required a LONG reach through a fender-wall flap and another in an unbelieveably cramped compact import. The filters ranged in size from 2-5/8' to 3-1/2' and at least one had been WAY over-tightened. This amazing wrench adapted flawlessly to each one--easy enough to take out the oil filter without a sweat. Rating:  - Not for a Harley...
The wrench is well constructed and believe it would work well in most situations, unfortunately I bought it with the intent of using it to change the oil on my Harley Ultra Classic. It does not provide the clearance needed to remove the oil filter on this bike.

It's well built and inexpensive. It does the job well. I think the inventor was very considerate in a way that he included an adapter nut, giving you an option to use either a torque wrench or a spanner.
