I have never bought any product from PC tools BUT a 360 dollar charge showed up on my debit card with no warning at all. Now I have to spend a week getting a new card and take a hit to my credit as it caused my account to overdraft. I hate these people and will never buy a product from them.

Spyware Doctor has had glowing reviews, so I tried it. On my computer it runs flawlessly. No slowdown at all. On my suggestion, five other people bought it and all--that is every one of them--had their computers slow down so much that they almost seemed locked.

Rating: - STAY AWAY FROM THIS NIGHTMARE!!!
I will add to the barrage of horrible reviews. I installed Spyware Doctor also because of high praise by prominent PC magazines and Internet reviews, seemed to work well at first, catching several spyware items, but little did I know, it was sloooowly destroying my PC.

Spyware Doctor is Junk! It uses 100% of system resources when running and slows computers to a crawl. PC Tools uses negative renewal billing. Run, don't walk, away from this product!

This is my story and i'm sticking to it.
Got a really bad virus/trojan/spyware called the (xp antivirus 2008), google it. I had Mcafee running and up to date the whole time. It went right past it. Totally took over the browser. I have had these in the past, again that got past Mcafee and it was pretty easy to download a free spyware program like spybot etc and remove it. Not so with the one above.
