Purchase Belkin F8N044-BRN stand in Sept. 2008. Stand looks true to picture, and fills the need that I had, which was to help keep my laptop tilted so that it may remain cooler. My laptop is now, significatly cooler to the touch.
However, claims that side openings could house mouse and power cords are complete falsehoods. If you can get my very small mouse in at all, trying to place the power cord in the opposing slot is impossible and if it did fit it would totally push out the very ... Read More

The Belkin Cush Top Notebook Stand is great! It allows me to use my laptop as though I were sitting at a desk but I do not have to be at a desk. Its wonderful for sitting on a couch, in bed, etc. I have yet to use the utility stow away area but everything else is great. Wonderful item if you do not want your laptop heating up your legs, etc.

I have been using the notebook stand since I received it and absolutely love it. It's lightweight, and props the notebook up to a comfortable typing & viewing level. It also keeps my lap from getting hot from the computer, and I imagine it's better for the laptop, too. The fabric surface is non-slip, which is a huge bonus.

Although it's not as cushy as its name indicates it might be, I love this thing. It keeps my laptop cooler than it would otherwise be and keeps my laptop from burning my legs (especially when wearing shorts - ouch). As other reviewers have stated, it's not perfect for cooling my laptop, but I definitely notice that the fan in my laptop doesn't run as hard and that the laptop isn't as hot when it is on the Belkin as opposed to my lap, pillow, or desk.
