I bought this after reading through the reviews here as well as the full specs on the Sony site, but was still disappointed with the result. While it does the basics just fine, I think there are cheaper options out there that do the same things.

I bought this dock to go with my Sony Bravia tv because it was the only one I could find that was guaranteed compatible. My issue is this:
I cannot for the life of me run the video through the tv. This means no on-screen menu and no remote- I have to work the ipod manually which is an enourmous step backward from the seperate Apple dock/speaker set I had before. When I called for support, the good people at Sony told me my ipod must be malfunctioning because there is no "video out" setting ... Read More

This dock works with iPod but not iPhone. But it makes for great music from my SONY ES amplifier.

I have the Sony SA-WCT100 Theater system. This is the best way to connect your I-POD to this system. It is very easy to do.

I bought this and have had it for a while now.
It works; does what it is supposed to. It's just nothing special. Prior to owning this, I just had RCA cords that had an adaptor that plugged into my iPod. That set up worked fine.
