My head is large and appears to be even more so when I wear this helmet. Here, the blessing of the Bell Impulse is also its curse. Sure, I'm not worried if my head hits the curb, but I feel like I'm losing so much of the engineered aerodynamics of my Trek 850 when I wear this helmet! Rating:  - a bit small, but overall good
I got the "adult" size (not sure if there is a difference between "adult" and "universal adult"), and while it fits, it's a bit tight. I do wear larger hats, so it might be ok for most people. I suppose tight is better than loose when it comes to bike helmets anyway. The bill is also flimsy, but I don't see that as a big negative. Overall a good helmet, especially for the price you pay.

For the price, this helmet is suiting me (a novice rider) just fine. It fits well and is not too bulky, as I've heard some less expensive helmets are.
