If you have a ceiling fan with a light that you'd like to control without fiddling with the little chains and without the expense of wiring a wall switch, this is a great product. Installing the remote receiver in the fan base can be a bit tight, but it's fairly straightforward as long as you are comfortable with basic wiring.
