My unit just died and I purchased a new one (not from this site). The manufacturers have changed the product. The unit only gets to half the heat now and it does not melt the wax properly. The little bit of wax I got out of the unit was a very different consistency and does not grab the hair. CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT
