I have high arches which cause extreme charlie horses in my calves when I run. These shoes provide great support so that I no longer have these problems. The cushion is great and I've noticed a difference in less impact on my knees. A great shoe - it's too bad they discontinued this model.

I tried this on at a store that the customer service person recommended to me as I have a high arch on my right foot and flat on my left. I have wide feet. He said my feet tend to roll to the side when I walk. He let me try on the shoes and it was very comfortable. I thought I'd look in here at Amazon since I know they sell it much cheaper. I am a person that has to wear a certain kind of shoe and New Balance is the one. I cannot say how often they change my certain number but thanks to amazon not only do they carry the shoes you cannot find in stores anymore but they are half the price and exactly the same. Packaged and brand new in the box. I highly recommend this place.

I first bought these shoes at FrontRunners last January. They are one of the most comfortable running/walking shoes I've ever had and they weren't cheap! I checked Amazon for these shoes to go on sale throughout the year and finally, they did! Any kind of athletic shoe is hard to buy on-line unless you know what it is you're looking for.
