I have purchase a shakesphere reel and it took 1 month of fishing to destroy the reel, so i went and purchased the shimano symetre and this reel cast like a champ. This reel is heavy duty and very smooth. If you looking for a real reel get a shimano..... The Name Says It All.

This is the best spinning reel, priced below $200, I have ever used. You should ignore the fact that this reel doesn't have vented spools and has fewer bearings than other reels in its price range. Those are cosmetic features often used by manufacturers to mask a general lack of quality. This reel is strong, quiet and reliable.
