Rating:  - Totally handy, gets the job done.
Very handy for traveling around the world without having to worry or bother with using different adapters. With this, all you need are two AA batteries, which is easy to find anywhere. Plus, instead of being confined in one corner near a power outlet, you can use this anywhere.
My only complaint is that it doesn't seem as powerful as a plug-in epilator, but it still gets the job done well.

Product works with AA batteries which are available worldwide. I have a AA charger and a few sets of rechargeable batteries for my flashlight, camera, etc. so there is always power available. I use it only on my legs and it works very well for this purpose. It catches even the short hairs and pulls them out usually on the first try. It is much faster than my older model epilady, I can usually do a leg in 5-10 minutes. The pain level is normal for such a product (not bad but it does hurt a little). ... Read More

My mother had the first generation Epilady when I was growing up and I remember the loud whirring of the coils when she touched it to my leg once. I winced from pain and vowed never to use one of these epilators.
Years later, I broke and bought one because I was looking for a more efficient hair removal process. I now love this item, but I also purchased the item with some experience with non-shaving based hair removal.

Probably a good device. However, in the product description here on the Amazon site, it states that you can use this product for different areas of the body. But once I got the product, the directions say to only use it on your legs. Attempted to use it on my face just to see and the blades almost cut my chin and lip! So be careful if you think this product is to be used on other parts of the body other than legs!
