Okay--first of all, a description of what you are buying. This is a hook-and-loop sanding pad, meant for wet sanding (that is, you add a little water). It has a spongy back. It is meant to use with a 6" diameter hook-and-loop sander, and can work with a 5". A variable speed sander is best, such as the Bosch 3727, because this Abralon works best at low speed, not in "full spin" mode, which is what you will get with a single speed orbital sander.
