What this booklight has going for it is that it's cheap and lightweight (although there are lights that will fold up smaller, while this one just kind of flops around when you try to pack it--but it's small enough that you can pretty much just stuff it wherever). Another plus is that the clip is gentle enough for paperback books.

Rating:  - BEST BOOKLIGHT EVER!
This is by far the best booklight ever. I use it for my kindle and have found that it is the only booklight that lights up the whole "page"! The soft-flex arm makes it easy to reposition with out kinking the arm!

Overall, the Energizer book light does its job and has a lot of nice features: inexpensive, rated 30-hour battery life, the flexible neck puts light where you want it, lifetime warranty, and the smooth plastic clip doesn't damage your books. Where it's not quite perfect is that the single LED projects a hot spot in the middle and then fades out to the edges, even on an average-sized paperback.
