I guess for the money it is a good security box that might slow down a theif. But if you really want your stuff not to be stolen this is not the way to go. It's to easy to pry loose and seems tinny. Just don't put anything to valualble in it. It makes a good deturrent so hide your stuff somewhere else so when they take "Your Safe" thinking they scored your stuff will be safe. Mine was missing parts. If it was not so cheap I would have returned it. But it does work and an ok deal at the price. Hope ... Read More
Rating:  - Keypad is Worthless, Waste of Money
Maybe we have a faulty safe, but I can insert the key and unlock the safe at any given time, regardless of having put in my password on the keypad. The keypad seems to serve no purpose at all. Waste of money.

It's good for locking up things that you don't want walking away, however, it is not fire proof and documents and heat sensitive items will be damaged in a fire.

The Honeywell 1.06 Theft Safe is just what I was looking for. I went to the bank and they wanted anywhere from $85.00 to $95.00 per year and keep a minumum bank account amount. I do my banking otherwise and was not interested in their deal.
The safe is plenty large to serve my needs and easy to use. It will more than pay for itself in two years!

Great for storing personal items, works great, the only thing I dislike is having to use a key in addition to the keypad in order to open the safe but I guess that makes it more secure.
