Rating:  - Soap that doesn't melt in your hand!
I have very delicate skin which breaks out easily. This soap is excellent and helpful for my daily use. I have had no bad reactions to it and better than soaps like Dove it doesn't get mushy.

My husband, who is usually oblivious about any household products I buy, suddenly came up with a comment last week: "I really like that Tom's soap, why haven't we been using it all the time!"

Since I saw the negative comment I thought I would give a more accurate review about the actual item, rather than just one ingredient.
I have been using this product for years, and was so happy to find it here. I have had no problems with any of the ingredients. My skin never feels dry after using this bar, and it has a good scent as well. The scent is not overwhelming like many conventional soap bars. If you are sensitive to SLS (sodium lauryl sulfate), then this is not the product for you. I read the reviews on this product which gleamed of success stories, but found no relief from dry skin after a week of usage. I then found switching to non-SLS soap products did the trick. So if you find no relief here, I suggest you do the same. I cannot give this product a good rating because of it's contents.
