I picked up a recent issue of Wired magazine and found a short review and story about the Groom Mate Platinum XL nose hair trimmer. Whenever I see a product that users say is the best nose/ear hair remover on the market, I am somewhat skeptical ... OK very skeptical since the unit isn't even electric powered.

Well, it ain't perfect and it takes some effort but overall, it works better than any other device I've tried. I'd just like to know the reason that the older you get, the more hair grows in embarrassing places. What? There were no hair follicles in our ears and noses when we were young?

Glad I bought this. Well made and does exactly what it says on the tin. Its better at nose hair trimming than ear hair, but still a good product. Handy size and no batteries required. Very useful, much better than any electric nasal hair clipper I've ever used.
