Rating:  - Do not buy here
Don't take my star rating as commentary on the quality of the Jouranl as it is a simply must read for any finance professional. I rated one star due to the price on Amazon. I was recently singing up for delivery and thought $249 for a year's subscription doesn't appear too bad. Of course when you compare it to a 54 week subscription for both print and online for $99 it is a terrible deal. If purchasing go to WSJ homepage.
Rating:  - Well written, best newspaper
The WSJ is very well written and is entertaining. I subscribe to a local paper for local news, but always rely upon the WSJ for national unbiased news. I especially look forward to the Personal Journal section with news you can use in your life.
I just dropped my subscription to Smartmoney magazine, because I find the same information in the Journal, except several weeks earlier.
Rating: - Still The Best Paper In The USA.
First: the papers market coverage is the best in the USA. The Regular wrap-up features & the Heard On The Street column give colorful nuances to the information. The amount of information itself can be overwhelming to absorb. From the NYSE, junk bonds, to blue chips, this paper is good for both the casual, or serious investor. Rating: - Check your delivery method !
The paper is great, you don't need me to tell you that. The problem starts with delivery, if you live in an area with carrier delivery, AND your carrier isn't a total flake you can expect your paper each and every morning. That's when I like my WSJ, I can grab it and jump in the car and read it while I should be working. If your carrier is a flake your paper will show up late, if at all.
