This Oster is professional quality and does a great job on my buzz cut - even and clean, tons of power. Can't beat the value.
Rating: - Used as a Dog hair Shaver
I had a large dog with very thick matted hair who needed to be shaved. The price was right, and it is a very hard working machine. Most people will use this for humans, but if anyone is looking for a good dog grooming clipper. This is great. Doesnt get too hot, and is quiet enough to shave around my dogs head without irritation. For thick hair like i had to go through, just take your time and work your way down. once you get past the matted part the clippers move through like butter.

This hair clipper works really well. We had one of the cheap $15 Conair clippers before this one and you definitely get what you pay for. This one is so much quieter and didn't pull my son's or husband's hair during our first haircuts with it. The only thing I want to mention is that we bought the extra package of six guide combs to go with it and that was a waste of money. Rating: - Like a hot knife through buttah!
I've been shaving my own head for ten years now...and prior to this item, I've been using cheap Wahl clippers - the kind you can pick up at Target/Sears/etc.
Anyway, The Oster Fast Feed just blazed through my thick hair without a hiccup. I was amazed. I haven't experience such haircutting nirvana since my hair was lopped off for Basic Training at Fort Sill in the summer of 1995.
These clippers are definitely worth it.

I use this clipper to trim my beard and it is soooo much better than the wimpy battery powered clippers that I have used and thrown away for the past 30 years. I wish that I had bought one of these way back. Battery powered clippers don't have enough power and they frequently snag and pull. Not this clipper, it's perfect!
