I just recently started bowling on a league, so whereas before my infrequent visits to the local bowling alley made renting more practical that's no longer the case. If you bowl frequently but are not in a league Depending on lane rental prices in your area the shoe basically pays for itself after 6-8 visits to the bowling alley. I placed a similar order but this came almost a week after I reeived the other one whic I ordered the same day. The shoes were OK coz the sizing was not right but my son decided to have it anywaysince the ones I ordered were a bit bigger for him. All ended well.
Rating: - Great shoe for the price
Way better than renting bowling shoes at $4 per game. They are black, so they match just about everything. They are not for walking outside, so don't mistake for typical walking shoes. They have a fabric coating on the toe of the underside of the shoe (both shoes). I know some bowling shoes have this on only one side (my friend has a pair like that) and if you have it on the wrong side, it can be trouble (like wearing regular shoes that squeaking down the lane).
