Good product, makes nice sandwiches and super easy to clean. Would have loved if it is fast in heating up, takes more than 5 minutes to warm up and get going.
Rating:  - I must not be treating the plates right
I love the removable plates, but after washing them (can never get them to stop coating my hands black) they started to stick even after a light coat of oil. Now I think I have over oil it because I have a film of sticky oily substance on them that won't wash off.
The plates do not come together enough to cook the waffle from both sides.

I like this one just fine. The "plates" remove and are very easy to clean. The waffles do not stick and come out evenly done. (Not so with the other one I tried and it cost twice as much). I made sandwiches a couple of times...just be careful if you use cheese. I put a little too much on one and it, of course, melted and oozed all over the outside of the unit. Messy clean up... but....you're smarter than that.. good luck!!

I bought this so I could save on the "store bought" waffles. I now know what goes into my waffles as well as preparing them to my satisfaction. I usually make up a week's worth of waffles, freeze them and use as needed.

Unfortunately, my wife did not share with me how much she disliked this unit in time to return it.
The sandwich maker inserts are molded for diagonally cut bread. You can't just stick a full sandwich in it -- and it only takes really small slices of bread. Forget about putting your Orowheat premium bread in it.
Waffles stick to the waffle inserts and tear apart when opening it -- despite our best efforts at seasoning it with canola oil. I will check with the manufacturer ... Read More
