Rating: - Not just a rice cooker
This has become my favorite kitchen appliance. With this cooker, I can cook just about anything and not worry about messy microwave spills. I use it to cook or steam just about anything: white rice, brown rice, soup, rice flavored with soup, rice and veggies, rice with seafood, potatoes, stews, just about anything. I've even done pasta a time or two with no problems.

I bought this based on all of the good reviews it had on Amazon. I tried it several times,(following the directions exactly) and the cooker would not even come close to fully cooking the rice. I would not recommend this to anyone.

After 20 minutes, there was still water left and rice was still hard so I cooked for an additional 12 minutes at 50% level and that did the trick. It was perfect... I did let it sit for a few minutes and it fluffed up beautifully. As for the broccoli, I followed ... Read More
