The IBS Audio Program 100™, for Irritable Bowel Syndrome Self-Hypnosis, is the result of years of over 10 years of clinical research and experience by Michael Mahoney, the UK's leading specialist in gut-specific hypnotherapy for IBS. The 100 day program consists of 3 therapeutic session CDs, with an introduction and five different hypnotherapy sessions, each building on the preceding one into a comprehensive course of treatment. Sessions vary in duration but average 25-35 minutes. The program also includes a bonus 4th CD (the IBS Companion), which explains IBS to other people in the patient's life. A program booklet provides a symptom checklist, progress log, listening schedule, and essential information for IBS sufferers. This program effectively converts one-to-one sessions that are used in the clinical environment into a unique home-based, easy to follow program for the IBS sufferer. Mahoney is regularly referred patients by gastroenterologists and family care physicians. He is an associate member of the Primary Care Society for Gastroenterology, a worldwide organization. After seeing thousands of IBS patients with every combination of symptoms and duration, who were referred through word of mouth or by medical professionals, the hypnotherapy sessions used in Michael's clinical setting were fine-tuned and recorded for patients either too far away or too incapacitated to attend therapy sessions in person. To test the efficacy and effectiveness of the program, patients were asked to participate in private clinical research trials. These patients were contacted for three follow-up periods of assessment, with the last being three years following completion of the program. Results exceeded previous research findings and showed an average 85% reduction of pain and bowel dysfunction symptoms such as diarrhea, constipation, pain, gas, bloating, and nausea. This program wants you to listen to different lessons on different days, however, since there is more than one lesson on each cd & my player can not be munipulated to skip the 1st ones, you must listen to the beginning ones again & again. Too timely so I don't use it.

Having been diagnosed with IBS, I looked for ways to combat this extremely distressing cluster of symptoms. I am so grateful to Michael Mahoney for creating this CD set. When I saw the price tag I was reluctant to buy, but honestly, I can say this investment has paid itself over in multiple ways. No only did it help my IBS symptoms, it helped the way I looked at my life and the stressors in it. Rating: - Unbelievable Results
I bought this product with doubts in my mind to how it would help me, however a couple of weeks in to the program and the results were amazing.
I have now finsihed the 100 day program and although i am not 'cured' i am certainly a hell of a lot better off than i was before.
If you suffer from IBS i would giv this a go!!!

I bought these tapes one year ago after suffering with IBS for 18 years and trying every med known to man. I was at a point where I could no longer step out the front door to go to work without my gut cramping up and usually resulted in making a U-turn to get home ASAP to get to the bathroom. First off, let me start by saying that I gave this product 2 stars with hopes that it might help someone else. As much as I believe that hypnosis can help open or reintroduce your mind to healthier thinking, I did not find this product, and especially Michael Mahoney, very effective or compelling. My major complaint about this program really boils down to the fact that Michael Mahoney got on my nerves.
