Editorial Review:
Product Description: Los Lonely Boys: Live at Blue Cat Blues recorded - November 30, 2000. Now you'll know why! For a real taste of where the music that America is falling in love with today comes from, this is a must have CD. Los Lonely Boys demonstrate their raw musical and vocal talents live on this CD and present a true understanding of their roots influences. With the unfortunate loss of their grandmother the morning of this show; this night they were playing for her and she was smiling! The CD starts off with 3 bonus tracks representing the first time LLB ever played Dallas. Read the liner notes and listen closely to the introductions. Then you have a 13-song concert, just the way we heard it that night. Unbelievable to say say the least The set begins with 'Heaven' and includes 'I Don't Want To Lose Your Love' and 9 more original songs not released on the studio CD. For a real taste of where the music that America is falling in love with today comes from, this is a must have ! CD.

Rating: - Before they hit the Big time
I can't believe it took 5 years for this breakout band to hit it big. I guess its all in pubicity and management!
You'll see what I mean, this CD was recorded live in 2000/2001, listen to the amount of people in the audience, there is maybe two or three tables with 1 person sitting at each table.
This CD is great.
Rating: - Interesting early concerts
If Los Lonely Boys seem to have burst on the scene from nowhere, this recording from several years ago shows that they were working the tunes from their first album for quite a while. Interesting to me is that the sound here is bluesier and more Stevie Ray Vaughan influenced than on their current album or Live at the Fillmore disc. Their current sound has a stronger Santana influence. The recording quality and quality of vocal harmonies is not as good here as on the current discs, but the guitar ... Read More
Rating: - Los Lonely Boys ROCK!
Awesome cd. The right mix of rock and blues. It reaches out to those who have yet to discover the talent of this young group. As for the rest of us, the "Live at Blue Cat Blues" cd is a great addition to our LLB library. See you on August 3rd (2005) at the Paso fair!
Sorry guys, but you loose one star for having a duplicate song on the cd.
Rating: - Great Live CD-better than the Fillmore Live CD
TYhis is a great CD with great sound and songs. This was recorded when the band was hungry for popularity and it sounds like it. Great vocals-great separation and great guitar. This has a bluesy feeling to it. Recorded during two earlier concerts of the boys when they first started. I would get this 1st over all over recordings by this band- The three brothers rock!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Rating: - Pure Raw Energy!
This cd recorded live in a small club setting displays the Raw energy of Henry Garza's guitar playing. I've listened to this over and over, pulling it out again when I need a boost. The covers do SRV justice and their original songs are smooth and pure. Their rock n roll /latin roots in a blues blend brings out a vunerability that takes us deeper into the magic of what guitar playing does to your soul. These boys can sing, all three of them, with passion. Their orchestrated bass work, lead guitar, ... Read More
