The Samsung Aqua Pure refrigerator filter fits all of the new Samsung side-by-side refrigerators that have built-in water filters. The DA29-00003A is also used to replace DA61-00159A. It improves the taste and odor of the water and removes the following impurities: 97% of Chlorine (Class I), and 96% of Particulates (Class III). It Does Not Remove Flouride. Samsung recommends that you replace the filter every 6 months OR when the filter change indicator light comes on OR if the refrigerator has not been used for more than two weeks (for instance, during a move) OR if you notice a decrease in the flow of water or objectionable tastes in the water or ice.

Best Buy (which is a misnomer - should be "Priced High") sells them for $45.00 and ValueFilters sells them for $38.00. Shop elsewhere until the price comes down.
Rating: - What can you say, it's a fridge filter?
Not much to say, it's a fridge filter and seems to do the job. I have to replace mine roughly every 6 months (the fridge lights up a replacement light about that often). As other folks have noted you get the B model, which is rated for fewer gallons than the A model, but it seems that the A model may not actually be available anywhere. Either way the price is reasonable so I come back every 6 months and buy another one.

This filter does a good job. Water tastes crisp and filter lasts 6 months. I have researched prices online and at the stores and concluded that Amazon merchants offer the best deals even if you consider the S&H expense. I am ordering my third filter through Amazon.
