I bought three pairs of 505s at the same time from the same buyer. The first two pairs (one "Made in Egypt", the other "Made in Bangladesh") have worn just fine (so far), but the third pair ("Made in Lesotho") RIPPED on only the SECOND day I ever wore them, starting from just above and to the left of the back-right pocket and tearing straight down, almost to my crotch...BETWEEN the center seam and the right-side pocket stitching (NOT on a seam or a stitch!). These jeans live up to expectations for Levi's products. And Beall's speed in delivery is unmatched in my experience with online purchasing.

this is the second pair of levis i ordered through amazon. it was identical to the first pair except the first was made in lesotho the second in egypt. both were 36x29, but the second, the one under review here, the one of egyptian manufacture, was somewhat tighter, really almost too tight, and the button hole was too small, had to be forced. clearly levi strauss no longer has the standard for which they were famous, and here as in so much else caveat emptor (latin for 'buyer beware').

They fit they are durable. They are levi's dependable quality from one of if not the oldest blue jean company. I was delighted to be able to get my size online.
