Rating: - Long time saline user, this is my first review, ever!
I have worn soft contacts, now for 22 years. The aerosol saline is the only kind of saline that does not irritate my eyes. Even the kinds that say they are for sensitive eyes leave my eyes itchy and feeling dry during the day.
I called the Blairex company, and they said that they have been making the aerosol saline for 30 years, and that when they raised their prices, Wal Mart stopped buying the product. The higher price, therefore is a combination of an average price increase compounded ... Read More
Rating: - ordering from blairex direct is 6.99/can plus shipping as of 12/2/08
I tried calling the number in a previous review about calling Blairex direct, but their price for direct sales is 6.99/can plus shipping. Hopefully that will save some folks the effort of calling direct.
I don't know the previous manufacturers, but the Equate brand (no longer available) was great. I love this aerosol saline - it doesn't hurt my eyes. My sister loves it too. I'm glad we can still find it somewhere.
Rating: - Good....but not lens plus!
I've used lens plus for years with no problems. This product is suppose to be as good. Its NOT!It gives me irritation and watering in one eye.Don't know why.The supplier did their job and product arrived on time in good condition.
Rating: - A close runner up to Lens plus
If your like me and liked Lens Plus Sterile Saline Solution and now can't get it any more...
this stuff is a close runner up! It has no preservatives or the dreaded thimerosal...
Rating: - price gouging
This company has increased the price by 400% (from $2.00 to $8.00)in two months since WalMart quit selling it under the name Equate in August. This company is obviously happy to rip-off consumers.
