Product Description: Vicks V1200 Personal Steam Inhaler
Amazon.com: For cold, flu, bronchitis, sinusitis, laryngitis, and allergy sufferers, this personal steam inhaler restores sufficient moisture to the lungs and respiratory tract. The patented plastic hood is contoured to cradle the face comfortably and directs warm moist air right into the nose and throat to temporarily relieve nasal, sinus, and chest congestion. Water goes into the unit’s easy-to-fill base where a patented heater gently boils it. The adjustable control lets you choose the amount of steam that rises up into the hood. A short 5- to 15-minute treatment is all that is required to make nasal and throat passages feel clearer. This small inhaler is compact for easy storage or travel to work or abroad and has dual voltage for use anywhere in the world. For enhanced relief from cold/flu symptoms, this inhaler is compatible with Kaz Aromatic Inhalant Pads, which release soothing menthol and eucalyptus vapors. This steam inhaler is covered by a one-year warranty. --Cristina Vaamonde

Rating: - GREAT PRODUCT !!!!!!!
Since moving to North Carolina a year ago, I have had numerous sinus infections. I have not had one since April and I considered myself lucky.
Well, my luck ran out and I purchased this steamer. I am very pleased with this product. It is easy to use and works great. You have to work with it and find the right level of steam for your use.
I put it on full blast and just move my head an inch or two off of the plastic face piece.
It is well worth the money and it is small enough ... Read More
Rating: - My best friend
I had a stubborn sinus infection while I was pregnant. Since I couldn't take any decongestants, this steamer was my biggest source of relief. It became my best friend.
Rating: - Great for singers and people with allergies!
This is really handy for a singer to have. It's very portable, light, and compact. I really like it. It puts out plain steam to inhale and you can adjust the output. It heats up quickly and puts out steam long enough to sit there for over 10 min at least. I don't have any complaints. Inhaling steam is so good for you, if you have allergies or are battling phlegm or a cold...this will help you so much. I am a singer and use this steamer twice a day and it's helped me with my allergies.
Rating: - Good product for the price
This steamer has helped a lot to relieve my allergy's and post nasal drip. I use it once in the morning and once before bed when I'm symptomatic. I like the small size since it takes very little space in my bathroom. The only downside is it does not turn itself off if you forget. I highly recommend it.
Rating: - pretty good one
I got my Vicks Steam Inhaler a few days ago. I had been choosing between it and the Mabis one. However, the latter costs $20 more so I decided to go with this one considering almost identical review ratings. I would rate it with 4.5 starts, not with 5. There is still a little room for improvement. It is pretty compact and quick. It starts producing steam in about 4 minutes. Yes, you can regulate the amount of steam. But I found that hot air makes me breath faster and, as a result, there is not enough ... Read More
