Rating: - Uh, NO!
Just married, relocated, and remodeled a house so I've got no ends of projects staring me in the face. This GG failed me on 2/3 projects, one wood and one ceramic. It did however work on my ping pong table that is basically heavy mdf and it is holding, but it was VERY messy and the foam this stuff makes is a little surprising.
My conclusion from this short study is that GG works well on porous material, but be prepared for a mess. And when the foam dries you will need a chisel to remove ... Read More
Rating: - Worked well so far. Used in various applications.
I have used it in various applications and so far it has worked well.
I have used it for wood cabinets, clamped them and they are still holding up well months later.
I used with some plastic pieces and it worked fine.

I was going to try Loctite's SUMO glue, until a reviewer mentioned it's shelf life wasn't very good (and it would ... Read More
Rating: - Didn't work at all for me
I bought a small bottle to try on a difficult chair repair. I am a reasonably experienced woodworker and prepared and clamped the joint carefully. The glue joint failed almost immediately. I repeated the process and the joint failed a few days later. I then used plain old Elmers and the joint is sound months later.
Rating: - GORILLA GLUE IS THE BEST!
THE BEST THING EVER! I HAVE BEEN GLUEING EVERYTHING, IT'S HOLD IS IRON CLAD.
Rating: - Very bizarre, very effective
We've used this glue several times now, and it has worked in situations where other glues, even the lauded Superglue, failed. At least one surface to-be-glued must be moistened ahead of time, and this glue, which looks like frothed-up Ovaltine, bubbles and bubbles and expands, and then adheres like all get-out. It is a bit expensive, no matter where you buy it, so it might not be the first glue you want to try, but use it when other glues have been tried and proven themselves unworthy.
