This is a great pump. I've used it to empty our spa several times. It's not what the pool pros use, but for the price, it sure does the trick.
Rating:  - Nice little pump for odd jobs.
We use this pump for grey water recycling to drain a bathtub to a yard outside our house via a garden hose. Works very well for this purpose or any odd jobs where you need to remove moderate amounts of water. Can clear a 25-30 gallon tub in about 5 minutes.

A very good value. Pump is solid and heavy, but quiet and efficient. When turned off, the hose will continue to siphon without disconnecting the pump if the hose exit is lower than the pump.

Moved into our house 3 years ago and had been fighting with our pool since then. Every pool opening was a nightmare until this year. I bought this pump to drain water from our pool cover and I'm extremely satisfied! I just plug it in and let it do it's magic. Cleared the swampy, leafy pool cover water in 2 evenings.
